Meet the Crew
Lamppost Cinema was founded in 2021, but this crew has created together for years. Visual storytelling is our passion, and we pursue it professionally and personally.
Picture the scene: a community college film class, a semester long project, and the best video team anyone could ask for.
Three years and one college degree later, Jessica founded Lamppost Cinema, LLC. The first thing she did to ensure the company's success was to surround herself with the best filmmaking crew she knew: Spencer, Chipper, and Cody.
Lamppost Cinema exists out of a shared love for visual storytelling. We thoroughly enjoy what we do, and we want to share our filmmaking experiences with you.
Jessica C McNeil
Owner and Executive Producer
Jessica is a Tallahassee native who loves the world of film. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Digital Media Productions. Her love for cinematography and editing developed as a result of wanting to share uplifting stories with the world. When not creating video content, she enjoys reading novels and watching movies. Most of her weekends are spent walking her dog, JJ.
Spencer Doster
Cinematographer and Executive Editor
Spencer grew up in Tallahassee and attended Florida State University. In 2021, he married his wife, Micah. Together, they have two dogs. Spencer enjoys going to the movies and spending time with friends.
Chipper Beal
Cinematographer
Chipper is from Tallahassee, Florida. He attended Florida State University and earned a degree in Editing, Writing, and Media. He's an avid reader and an astute movie goer.
Cody Sellers
Cinematographer
Cody is a Tallahassee native and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Media Communication Studies. Cody's goal is to create awareness and display Lamppost Cinema's amazing content via digital media. Some of Cody's interests include fitness, cars, and anime.
